Growing up in Wake county I have come to understand the individual and unique needs of those making a life here. Though I was born and raised here, my family was mixed and from up north. This made it a bit challenging for me at first, but once we moved to Garner, I quickly formed lifelong friends and a strong social network that remains as wide and varied as the people within the District.
At an early age I was mentored by Lola Fuller, a fine arts instructor at Carnage Middle. She made a big impact by showing me some of the social inequities that anyone can—and many do—face.
My father instilled an interest in history and the ancient philosophers in me. From there I formed my conviction that people should always have more say and power over their own lives and governments should be as limited in scope as possible.
I do believe that there is a way to progress society while keeping our liberties and freedoms. A Brand New Day!
Hello, I’m Chris Costello, and I’m running for North Carolina House District 33 because I believe it’s time to bring order back from the chaos of society and restore faith in our future. As a lifelong resident, I’ve seen both the strengths and challenges our community faces. I am committed to driving economic growth, improving our education system, and ensuring accessible healthcare for all.
Our district deserves a representative who listens to its residents and acts on their concerns. By attracting businesses, supporting local entrepreneurs, and creating job opportunities, we can build a stronger, more stable economy. I am passionate about securing better funding for our schools and supporting our teachers to ensure every child receives a quality education. Additionally, I will advocate for healthcare policies that make it affordable and accessible.
I firmly believe America’s best days are still ahead. Together, we can create a brighter, more prosperous future for District 33. Let’s make our community stronger and more resilient.
